Applying for MHADA Housing Lottery

Step 1 – You will have to fill a form containing your essential information like name, DOB, contact number, occupation & income, PAN, marital status, gender, residential address, etc. You will be prompted to create a username and password.
Step 2 – Log in with your username and password to apply for the MHADA lottery online. The open lottery schemes will be available on the home page; select a preferred lottery scheme from the available options and submit your details like income group, reservation category, type of application, etc.
You should apply for a particular lottery scheme after thoroughly understanding the costs of buying a home. There are several fees involved, including registration charges, stamp duty, maintenance deposit, etc.
Step 3 – Enter the scheme code during filing up the lottery application. It refers to the shortlisted location where you want your property. For example, you will win an MHADA Pune apartment if you enter the scheme code of that area. You will find these ID’s in online annexures or MHADA brochures.
Step 4 – You will have to enter your bank account details and present residential address for communication before submitting the form. Step 5 – Pay the application fee after completing the application. The payment can be made online with credit or debit card, NEFT or RTGS. You can also pay using a demand draft.
For online payment, upload a canceled cheque and make the payment to MHADA bank account. Generate the payment slip and save it for future reference. For the demand draft, print the application form and submit it with the DD in the designated bank.
How to check lottery result?
The lottery result will be available on the official website’s result’s page. It will be listed scheme-wise, with the description of residences and its corresponding income group.
Eligibility criteria for an MHADA lottery are the following –
You should be at least 18 years old.
You should be a residing citizen of the state. Provide a Domicile Certificate showing you stayed for 15 continuous years in Maharashtra.
You should fall under the following income group –
EWS – Up to Rs. 25,000.
LIG – Rs. 25,001 to Rs. 50,000.
MIG – Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 75,000.
HIG – Rs. 75,001 and higher.
You should have a valid PAN card.
