A driving licence is a key document that any citizen riding a vehicle has to hold, hence it becomes crucial to renew it once your DL expires. In case a person is found driving a vehicle with an expired DL, he/she will be liable to pay heavy fines, or imprisonment, or both. A driving licence is usually issued for 20 years, after which it is renewed for 5 years. The renewal of DL is a pretty straightforward procedure.
A person can either apply through online or offline mode for renewing their licence. The process is more or less the same for both the modes. The primary step is to submit the application form, documents and the appropriate fees either through any of the modes.
